The marble floor of the Rathore Palace glimmered under chandeliers that probably cost more than her entire apartment.
Tara Malhotra stood in the center of it all — clipboard in one hand, phone pressed to her ear, and eyes narrowing at a group of decorators dangling fairy lights like tinsel on a Christmas tree.

No, no, no!” she snapped in fluent frustration, brushing her messy curls off her face. “It’s a royal wedding, not a budget birthday party. These lights should fall in symmetrical drapes, not zigzag like a snake! Fix it before Mr. Rathore arrives!”
